I spent the last two days sketching cats. Aside from my tiger, I've really never drawn cats before, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I tried to use my cat as a model, but she is a big, black, blob-cat, with very little definition...love her anyway!!
Starting to get the hang of the structure of the face and decided to do a very rough, digital, color study on this little character. Next step is sketching the full body and then I'll try this little guy again as a whole cat. I love character creation...it's my favorite part!! (Click on image to enlarge)
