Summer Fun!!

Hope everyone enjoyed their July 4th celebrations festivities!Nothing says summer like hanging with family and friends at the beach, barbeques, fireworks and who doesn't love toasting marshmallows?! This piece was part of my four seasons illustrator intensive assignment  at the NJSCBWI Annual conference. It was also my submission to the juried art show at the conference and I am honored to say that this little guy got an honorable mention in the published illustrator category. It was a great show with great children's book art! Congrats to all the winners...Vesper Stamper, Jason Kirschner and Eric Sailer
